PASC25: Upcoming deadlines for paper and poster submissions and travel grant opportunities

PASC25 Submission Opportunities

The PASC25 Organizing Team is pleased to remind readers that a few submission opportunties are still available for next year’s conference:

The call is addressed to researchers and HPC practitioners from the following scientific domains:

  • Chemistry and Materials (incl. ceramics, metals, and polymers)
  • Climate, Weather, and Earth Sciences (incl. solid earth dynamics)
  • Applied Social Sciences and Humanities (incl. behavioural, economic, legal, political and business sciences, philosophy, languages, the arts, ethics in computing including climate impact of HPC, biases in machine learning, etc.)
  • Engineering (incl. CFD, computational mechanics, computational engineering and materials, turbulent flows, acoustics, signal processing,  etc.)
  • Life Sciences (incl. biophysics, genomics, bioinformatics, systems biology, neuroscience, and computational biology)
  • Physics (incl. astrophysics, cosmology, plasma modelling, and quantum information sciences)
  • Computational Methods and Applied Mathematics

Submissions should be made via the submission portal.

Contributions that emphasize the theme of PASC25 – “Supercomputing for Sustainable Development” – are particularly welcome. Additional information about the theme can be found here.

Travel Grant Support

Thanks to the generous sponsorship from SIGHPC, students and early-career professionalshave an opportunity to receive support for their travel expenses to attend PASC25. In addition, PASC will cover the registration fee for the selected applicants.
In both categories, two grants each of up to USD 600 are offered to applicants travelling from within Europe, and two grants each of up to USD 1400 for applicants from other continents. Applications for the travel grants are due by March 30, 2025.Additional details on these opportunities (including eligibility criteria, requirements, application form among others) for students and early-career professionals are available on the conference website.

In addition, SIGHPC will be generously sponsoring travel grants for applicants selected for the poster presentation under the ACM Student Research Competition if they specify their need for a travel grant during the application process. Full poster submissions are due by December 15, 2024.
