IT Support & Development Engineer – New Open Position
Job description
CSCS is seeking a proactive candidate to join our IT support team. The position offers a wide range of technical challenges with a strong customer-oriented focus. In this role, you will be responsible of the following aspects:
- Installation, configuration and maintenance of third-party products
- Requirements gathering and solution co-design through close interactions with stakeholders
- Software development and integration of business support systems
- On-site IT support
Your profile
Expected qualifications:
- BSc in Computer Science (or related fields), with relevant working experience
- Familiarity with Linux environments
- Software development and configuration experience
- Pragmatic problem-solving attitude
- Individual and teamwork skills
- Communication skills in English (written and verbal)
Preferred qualifications:
- Hands-on experience installing and configuring Atlassian products such as Confluence and Jira, or similar products
- Hands-on experience with PHP, Python, Git, MySQL, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab pipelines, DevOps methodologies
- Hands-on experience integrating services via REST APIs
