Interdisciplinary School on Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence for Science, June 19 to 24, 2025 (Heilbronn, Germany)
We are pleased to invite applications for the Interdisciplinary School on Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence for Science, which will take place from June 19 to 24, 2025, in Heilbronn, Germany. ETH Zurich’s Campus Heilbronn organizes this summer school to provide early-career researchers with an intensive, hands-on introduction to cutting-edge ML and AI methodologies relevant to scientific research.
The school will focus on the interplay between the computational challenges of deep learning-based AI and conceptual issues like validating such learning systems. How will ML and AI meet high-performance computing to search for a symbiosis? What are the open scientific challenges of future AI?
The program is designed for PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and advanced master’s students across various scientific domains, including physics, chemistry, biology, and engineering. Participants will engage in expert-led lectures, interactive tutorials, and collaborative projects to explore how ML and AI techniques can advance scientific discovery.
