Program and Contributions

In this workshop we discussed the convergence of HPC and Cloud, the benefits of containerisation, and how system architects and system managers can build HPC environments on top of IaaS infrastructures like OpenStack.

The program also included a site visit of the Imaging Core Facility of Oliver Biehlmaier and the NMR Spectroscopy Group of Sebastian Hille.

Community Dinner

A community dinner, generously sponsored by sciCORE, was held on Wednesday, May 15th, 2019 at the historic Restaurant Löwenzorn, located in the old town. The restaurant offered the perfect opportunity to network and enjoy the company of our fellow colleagues in a relaxed atmosphere.
