GPU Programming Workshop
CSCS invites you to a 2 and half-day intensive course focused on GPU programming,
to be held at CSCS in Manno from 29th to 31st March.
Senior members of the PGI compiler development team, Michael Wolfe and Dave Norton, will be conducting the two full days tutorial and will provide hands-on training.
The course will include instruction on the architecture of GPUs, the PGI accelerator model using compiler directives to accelerate Fortran and C/C++ code, and programming and optimisation considerations to get the best performance out of GPUs. The final half day will be an optional hands-on session on accelerating classical molecular dynamics simulations using GPUs, presented by CSCS staff. Note that you will be expected to provide your own laptop for hands-on training.
The cost of this event is 150 CHF and the registration deadline is March 21, 2011 or when all the available places have been filled.
